review of design thinking

After I read though the article of computational design thinking, I have knowledge the demonstration of computation which is relevance for architectural design. However, to distinguish the different between computation and computerization. In order to that, the introduction lists several methods to differentiate which computerization dominants usage of architectural mode while computation as a design tool and roughly defined. And then content of the graphical systems such as Sketchpad, GRASP and LOKAT are followed. Furthermore, the computation is reintroduced in the next paragraph as more detail, according to the introduction of the article, which is the processing of information and interactions between elements which constitute a specific environment, the pivotal word being interactions and the most general application of computation is in producing outcomes realised form the processing of internal and external properties. Viewing these picture beside the paragraph, the idea of the computation comes out of my mind which is the form of structure and generated by points and lines. And algorithmically build the relationship between each layers in different dimensions. In addition, difference with the hand-drawing and computation is that, in the past, hand-drawing makes architects confused as the reason of sketch with the exact numbers; in contrast, the system of computation could easily formulate and organize the layers and structure by mathematics. And comparing computational design with the old fashion modelling, predicable performance of construction on the program is more multidimensional visibility.
